Family Retreat Details for Attendees

Ahoy Mateys!

We hope everyone is getting their "treasures" packed up and ready to set sail to the Family Retreat tomorrow! Angie Cosper and Amy Franks have a great weekend planned for you and your family.

Thanks so much to Mate Cecile Rider who has so carefully mapped out the directions to our destination in Advent Christian Village. Please see the attached document and let one of us know if you have any questions or concerns. There are a couple of cell numbers listed on the directions but please note that there is very limited cell coverage in Dowling Park!

Once you arrive at Advent Christian Village, please check in at the office for your keys and room assignment. If you can set sail early enough to arrive by 7pm, then please check in and meet us at the gym to decorate your family treasure box and flag, and to enjoy dessert and fellowship. If you arrive after 8pm, the office will be closed so you will need to go directly to the gym to pick up your keys and room assignment.

A few last minute tips on "treasures"  to bring with you:
    ~Bible
    ~Flashlights
    ~Comfortable clothing and shoes. There may be some messy games and some outdoor games too!
    ~Any pirate clothing that may just be laying around
    ~Chairs and Blankets for added comfort in the gym
    ~Rain gear – coats, ponhcos, umbrellas—it may be a rainy Saturday!!
    ~Your room will have bed linens but be sure to pack any extra blankets, pillows, etc. that will make you feel more like home
