Family Promise of Jacksonville

Southside United Methodist Church is one of 12 congregations that partners with Family Promise of Jacksonville to host homeless families for a week at a time about four times a year.   This interfaith hospitality network helps homeless families stay together while they work toward self-sufficiency.  

Volunteer During Host Week - June 27-July 4 and/or October 10-17

We need volunteers to bring dinners, help with moving day, sign up for daytime and overnight hosting shifts.  Contact Robert Rider at 398-7869 to serve as an overnight host or Amy Barnett at 396-5978 to serve meals.
