Children's Worship

Children of all ages are invited and welcome to remain with their parents for the entire worship service.   We also offer a special worship time during the sermon for children, ages PreK3-3rd grade, for both the 9 am or 11 am services.  This is a time when children can worship, listen to a children's sermon and praise with their peers.

 9 am Children's PRAISE Time

  • Children's PRAISE Time is an active service that includes kids music, scripture-related drama, kid's prayer requests & prayer time and God's word.
  • Following 9am PRAISE Time, children are escorted to their individual grade level Sunday School Class in the Children's Building.

 11 am Children's Church

  • Following the 11 am service, children may be picked up from the Langley Chapel, which is adjacent to the church.
  • Children's Church Helpers
  • 4th and 5th Grade students may complete Children's Church Helper Training and be excused two Sunday each month to assist with Children's Worship.
  • Parents are encourage and welcome to attend Children's Church to assist the Leaders. 
  • Youth, ages 6th Grade - 12th Grade may also help lead worship.

 PreK 3 - 2nd Grade: Each Sunday these children are excused from the sanctuary during the sermon to worship with their peers.  Preschoolers enjoy singing and storytime and older children have worship in the Family Life Center.   They are escorted to Sunday School at 10am by Childrne's Church leaders and helpers.  (The first Sunday of each month, all children return to worship for The Lord's Supper.  Parents may then ecsort children to Sunday School at 10am.)

3rd Graders:  Children in the 3rd Grade may also attend Children's Church but are encouraged to remain with their parents on the first Sunday of each month for the entire Service. 

4th and 5th Graders: These students are invited to enjoy worship with their parents.  They may complete Children's Church Helper Training and then sign up to assist wth Children's Church on two Sundays each month. 

Baby Church: Each Sunday during the 10am hour, a trained volunteer leads our littlest ones in the Toddler and Walker Nurseries in a special time of song, bible stories and prayer. They are surrounded with God's love and introduced to His grace through this special time for joyful worship.

Nursery is available at all church functions for children ages birth through PreK-2 (or those who are 2 or younger as of September 1, 2009.) We will love and care for them during Worship, Wednesday Night Activities, weekly on-site Bible Studies, committee meetings, etc. Call Angie Cosper at 396-2676 x123 to schedule or for more information.
